Advisory boards at Ë®¹ûÅÉ are an important part of the programs - they include several community members from various companies who give input on industry trends, business updates, economic influences, and expertise on skills to include in curriculum. This keeps the programs up to date so students learn appropriate skills and are ready for the workforce after they graduate.
The Marketing Sales Management Advisory Board met on Jan. 12 at one of the industry partners' businesses. Eve Miller, Marketing Director of Bernick’s and member of Ë®¹ûÅÉ Marketing Sales Management Advisory Board, hosted the MSM Advisory Board meeting at Bernick's in Waite Park.
After the business meeting, Eve Miller and Jordan Peterson, Bernick's Distribution Supervisor, gave a great tour of the marketing, sales, and operations divisions of Bernick’s. We got to see first-hand how these areas work closely together so the product gets to their customers in an efficient manner.
