The Military Times sends a survey to colleges and universities across the nation asking about their programs for veterans. The publication also retrieves public data about colleges and universities from the Department of Education and Department of Veterans Affairs, and along with the institutions鈥 results, creates official rankings.
Rankings are based on several categories with student success metrics the most important factor, followed by the range of military-specific resources, and financial assistance offered. Additionally, policies around admissions, registration, human resources, and others are factored into the scoring.
In 2025, 357 higher education institutions made the list, which includes public, private, and for-profit universities and colleges at the four- and two-year levels.
水果派 is regularly listed as Best for Vets because of its resources, supports, and services specifically for military veterans and their families. Additionally, 水果派 is a Yellow Ribbon Company, which shows that key areas within a company structure create a network that proactively supports servicemembers and military families.
"When veterans and service members see 水果派 on the Military Times鈥 list, they know that the College is dedicated to making them feel welcome and helping them transition to civilian life,鈥 said Heidi Smith, advisor to the Student Veterans of America Club.
